We braved the heat of Shanghai in midsummer, and it was worth every second.
From our brand booth and the Almedia Link product launch to the ChinaJoy party and our VIP executive lounge, each stop of the event brought meaningful conversations, new connections, and memorable moments.
If you missed out, don’t worry. You can still hit play to enjoy our ChinaJoy 2026 highlights and it’ll be just you were there:
🎲 Stop 1 | Brand Booth · Meet
Over three exciting days, Almedia’s booth welcomed game developers, publishers, partners, and industry friends from across the globe.
In addition to showcasing our vision for Rewarded Growth, the booth was designed as a place to connect. Through interactive experiences, exclusive giveaways, and countless conversations, visitors explored how Freecash, Link, and Almedia’s rewarded growth ecosystem help developers scale both user acquisition and revenue.
We're not just in the business of supplying games with users. We love to create games too, and visitors got to see that first-hand by playing our own Cashy Bird right at the booth.
To everyone who stopped by, shared ideas, and connected with us, thank you. Every conversation made this journey even more meaningful.
🚀 Stop 2 | LINK Product Launch · Imagine
August 1 was a big day for us as we officially introduced Link to China.
Joined by developers, partners, and media, Almedia CEO Moritz Holländer, VP of LINK Iskander Pataudi, and Wang Jintao, Greater China New Business Lead for Gaming, took the stage to share LINK’s vision, global success cases, and what rewarded engagement could mean for the next phase of game growth.
At the heart of the afternoon was one simple but important question: What if rewarded growth didn’t stop at user acquisition?
The conversation moved from player engagement and LTV to monetization and greater room to scale user acquisition. That is where LINK comes in—bringing rewarded engagement into the game itself and helping developers turn stronger player value into sustainable growth, now, with an SDK version.
The presentations ended, but the conversations didn't. If anything, they were only just beginning, drawing attention from publishers well beyond China's borders.
🤝 Stop 3 | VIP Executive Lounge · Build
Beyond the exhibition floor, Almedia also hosted a dedicated VIP Executive Lounge.
In a more private and focused setting, we welcomed customers and partners for in-depth conversations on global market trends, user growth strategies, and innovative rewarded engagement practices, while sharing insights and experience from markets around the world.
To everyone who took the time to join us, thank you for your trust, your conversations, and your partnership.
🎉 Stop 4 | ChinaJoy Party · Celebrate
As the exhibition halls closed for the day, the energy carried on, this year hosted alongside AppsFlyer, Snapchat, Madhouse Inc, BIGO Ads, Discord, YouAppi, Vibe.co, and Antom as one of ChinaJoy's must-attend parties.
Theatre performances, Jazz, K-pop, and anime dance shows took the stage one after another, while live DJ sets and freestyle rap kept the atmosphere alive throughout the night.
Old friends reconnected, new friendships were made, and conversations that began during the day naturally continued into the night.
For Almedia, co-hosting the go-to event at ChinaJoy is another marker of our commitment to the Chinese gaming market, and a reminder that we're here to stay.
This journey may have come to an end, but it makes the next one even more exciting.
See you at ChinaJoy 2027 in Shanghai.
