
Overview
Ovivo is a mobile publisher with a portfolio of 24 hybrid-casual titles. Partnering with Almedia, Ovivo integrated Link, a lightweight, SDK-free in-game solution, to grow player value and unlock a new revenue stream across the existing install base.
Over three months, Ovivo delivered 66,000 links across 15 geos. Linked users generated 5% more ad revenue at D30 and showed 28% higher D21 retention, while Ovivo earned a CPA on every verified link. Combined, Link delivered an estimated 16.8% LTV uplift across exposed users in new monthly revenue on top of Ovivo's existing ad and IAP income.
How Link Works
Link is an in-game pop-up that pays your users real money to keep playing your game — and pays you a CPA every time one of them connects their Freecash account.
Rewards start after two clicks:
The Link pop-up surfaces inside your game. You control where and when
The user confirms account linking on Freecash and sees the rewards available for playing your game
The user returns to your game and plays for rewards: you earn a CPA, the user earns real money
There's no SDK, no API, and no impact on the users who don't link. Setup typically takes a developer 0.5–1 day, with Almedia's tech team on hand throughout.
Challenge
Ovivo's games already had a loyal player base. The question was how to extract more value per user without undermining what kept those players coming back. Key objectives:
Increase ad revenue and LTV across the existing install base without raising UA spend
Avoid heavier ad loads or new ad formats that risk pushing players out
Keep engineering overhead minimal. No SDK, no API, no disruption to live games
Scale a single integration cleanly across 24 separate titles
Solution
Almedia and Ovivo deployed Link as a layered revenue stream on top of Ovivo's existing monetisation stack:
Reward-Hub Placement: A single magic link embedded in each game's reward hub, surfacing the Link pop-up at a contextually-relevant moment
Minimal Technical Lift: Device ID and click ID passed per user, unattributed MMP postbacks enabled for Almedia, deeplink back into the game post-linking
Portfolio Rollout: The same integration replicated cleanly across all 24 titles, with go-live in under a week from agreement signed to first verified link
15-Geo Activation: Launched across Almedia's standard whitelist of 15 markets spanning Tier 1 and high-performing Tier 2 geos
